MODERN APPROACHES TO THE DIAGNOSIS AND SELECTION OF TREATMENT STRATEGIES FOR PAROTID GLAND TUMORS USING IMAGING METHODS AND FINE-NEEDLE ASPIRATION BIOPSY

This article examines modern approaches to the diagnosis of parotid gland tumors using imaging methods and fine-needle aspiration biopsy. The capabilities of ultrasound examination, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in determining the localization, size, structure, and extent of tumor spread are analyzed. Particular attention is given to fine-needle aspiration biopsy as a minimally invasive and highly informative method of morphological verification.
