ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF BIOPREPARATIONS DERIVED FROM MICROORGANISMS IN THE CULTIVATION OF ORNAMENTAL PLANTS DURING EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES (A CASE STUDY OF A BIOLOGY CLASS)
Keywords:
extracurricular activities, ornamental plants, microorganismsAbstract
This study is devoted to analyzing the biological and pedagogical effectiveness of biopreparations derived from microorganisms in the cultivation of ornamental plants during extracurricular activities. The paper highlights the significance of using biopreparations as an innovative approach in teaching biology for developing students’ knowledge, skills, and practical competencies. During the research, the effects of biopreparations based on nitrogen-fixing, phosphate-solubilizing, and phytohormone-synthesizing microorganisms on the growth, development, and stress tolerance of ornamental plants were scientifically analyzed. In addition, it was substantiated that the application of these biopreparations in extracurricular activities contributes to the formation of ecological thinking, scientific worldview, and a conscious attitude toward biological processes among students. The research findings enhance opportunities for strengthening interdisciplinary integration in biology education, ensuring the unity of theory and practice, and introducing environmentally safe technologies into the educational process. The obtained conclusions serve as a methodological basis for the effective organization of extracurricular activities in biology in general secondary education institutions.
