METHODOLOGY FOR FORMING ECOLOGICAL CULTURE AND EDUCATION IN PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS BASED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

This article examines the methodological aspects of forming ecological culture and education in primary school students based on the principles of sustainable development. The study analyzes the pedagogical significance of ecological education and the concept of sustainable development, as well as their role in developing ecological knowledge, practical skills, and values among primary school students. In addition, the article presents effective methods for fostering students’ conscious attitude toward nature and ecological responsibility through the STEAM approach, project-based activities, interactive, and creative methods. The research results demonstrate that ecological education methodology based on the principles of sustainable development is an effective pedagogical tool for forming ecological culture and developing practical skills in primary school students.
