This article is dedicated to highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of using various new technologies, Internet services and social networks in teaching English to students in higher education. Information and communication technologies (ICT) is a pedagogical technology, which is a collaborative activity aimed at obtaining a specific result from various sources of information (electronic, printed, instrumental, human means) using "special software and technical means".
