This scientific article examines the essence of the concept of business analysis, its role in the modern economy, and its formation as a new direction within the system of analytical activities. The differences between business analysis and traditional economic analysis, as well as its main tasks, methods, and tools, are analyzed. In addition, the importance of business analysis in the context of the digital economy and its role in improving the management efficiency of enterprises are substantiated from a scientific and theoretical perspective.
